Kim is a native Memphian who has devoted a lifetime of service and support to her community through a career in both the private sector and non-profit organizations.
In 2005 Kim received an “Outstanding Civilian Service Award” from the Memphis Police Department, after being with the Safety Division for seven years.
Kim’s business career includes a history with private and non-profit businesses as an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper for companies in the fields of: Air Freight, Home Health Care, Retail, Wholesale, Service businesses and as a Small Business Owner.
A parent and former foster parent, Kim’s passion is helping youth wherever she sees a need.
Kim currently volunteers with the Hope Church Youth Department and Vacation Bible School. She has a history of serving and supporting her community through volunteer positions in various organizations: Multi-National Children’s Ministry, Nuber YMCA Board, Memphis Youth Symphony, Kirby High School Booster Clubs, Kirby High School Football Booster Treasurer, White Station High School Athletic NPO Treasurer, Oak Forest Elementary PTO Treasurer (where she was instrumental in helping gain non-profit status).
Kim’s enjoyment in life is giving to others and her community.
