Michael Juan Rosario is a husband and father of three children. He graduated high school in Caguas, Puerto Rico from El Colegio Católico Notre Dame. He attended college at the Pennsylvania State University before joining the United States Marine Corps where he served as an aircraft mechanic in the Gulf War. He moved to Memphis in 1997 where he joined the Memphis Police Department. He has served in Uniform Patrol, Organized Crime Unit, Felony Response, Robbery, Crime Prevention, Inspectional Services, Multi-Agency Gang Unit, and as the Sex Crimes Commander. He is a graduate of Christian Brothers University and is currently seeking his master’s degree from Capella University. He has served the Latino Community throughout his police career and seeks to continue serving in a new capacity as a board member of CasaLuz.
