Cherylann Pasha is an attorney in Memphis, Tennessee. She is passionate about helping survivors of domestic and sexual violence, having previously served as a hotline operator at the D.C. Rape Crisis Center. That experience inspired her to pursue a career that allowed her to directly serve her community, leading her to law school. In her final year of law school, Cherylann briefed and argued an immigration appeal before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, ultimately securing immigration relief for her client. Cherylann won the Award for Clinical Excellence based on her work on that case. Since moving to Memphis, she has clerked for two federal judges on the United States District Court in the Western District of Tennessee: Chief Judge Sheryl H. Lipman and Chief Magistrate Judge Tu M. Pham. She will be joining the law firm Burch, Porter & Johnson in the fall. Cherylann has a B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross, an M.A. from Georgetown University, and a J.D. from Boston College Law School.
